Madeleine is a teacher and freelance story teller for the past 22 years. She took part in our previous arts festival in 2004 will be returning this year teaching the art of story telling to those interested in learning the art. Each workshop will explore the approaches to learning stories (visual /auditory/kinesthetic), imagination stimulation exercises/making up stories, body warm ups, performance skills/confidence building.

A continuous roll of paper where people get the chance to put their doodle. At the end of the day it will be dispalyed at the corn exchange
Paint Challenge
Meet Outside the Corn Exchange 10a.. Bring your own m aterials
4hrs to paint a scene of Blandford. The finished paintings will then be displayed at the corn exchange exhibition. Invitation to all ages and styles. Please note any minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Passionate about Acting, Singing and Dance
The Academy is a new Performing Arts school in Blandford run by Principals Lauren Newbury and Rebecca Hollands. It provides tuition in Drama, Singing, Musical Theatre and Dance and offer LAMDA, ABRSM, RAD and BTDA examinations and is affiliated with Forum Drama. The Academy provides school holiday workshops from musical theatre medleys to intensive drama days.
During the festival they will be showcasing some or the songs from their next production 'Believe' and there will also be an opportunity to be part of a workshop and learn one of the songs!
